Our Story
A+ Ventures was founded by Frederic Hofmann (19 years principal investing experience and most recently Co-Head of ING Ventures, the venture capital arm of ING Bank) and Aman Behzad (Founder and CEO of Royal Park Partners, a leading FinTech M&A/CorpFin Advisory firm) who together are deeply embedded and connected in the FinTech and venture capital space.
What sets us apart is our ability to combine deep market insights with strong venture capital execution and portfolio management expertise. We identify and unlock opportunities in some of the most dynamic and promising sectors, providing our investors with access to a pipeline of curated, high-potential deals. We have strong track records of adding material value to the companies we invest in, leveraging our network and extensive experience.
We operate through SPVs on a deal-by-deal basis, offering flexibility and transparency to our investor network. By participating with A+ Ventures, investors gain exposure to rounds in the £5–10M range, with ticket sizes from £250k to £2.5m, without the need to take on lead origination, deal execution or portfolio management responsibilities.

Meet The Team
Frederic Hofmann was the Co-Head of ING Ventures, investing in early and growth stage companies shaping the future of financial services and beyond banking.
Fred has 20+ years principal investment experience and has completed over 80 private equity and venture capital investments in Europe, the US and Asia. Prior to joining ING Ventures in 2018 he was a Director at Anthemis, a leading fintech venture capital firm, before which he worked for Goldman Sachs, Bridgepoint and Open Capital.
Aman is a seasoned corporate finance professional, with more than 15 years of extensive M&A and advisory experience built across Citi, Arma Partners, and FT Partners.
Recognising the need for specialist Fintech advisors, he founded Royal Park Partners in late 2019, taking a leading role on deal activity throughout.
